Lotta's mission
Lotta Quizeen’s first outing was in Domestic Bits at the Brighton Fringe in 2012 as a 20 minute sketch for Katie’s Masters in Performance and was inspired by Fanny Cradock and an interest in domesticity, femininity and feminism. Katie’s self-penned Shelf Life followed in 2013, then a collaboration with The Thelmas and Serena Haywood for Pull Your Socks Up, Britain! in 2015: a unique blend of domestic audience trials, quips on current affairs and ruddy rude British humour. Next in the franchise was Fallout (w Serena Haywood, d Lou-Lou Mason), in 2018. Inspired by the then global issues; geopolitical and social (#metoo), Fallout explored what happens when a loving mother, used to taking control, realises that she’s failed to protect the people who need her most.

lotta gets political!
Lotta stood as an independent candidate in the Putney constituency in the UK General Election in 2017, with her 'bringing sensible back' campaign. She received 58 votes and lost her deposit! Later that year she visited New York where she joined the 'Man with a Sign' campaign.
